Perspectives is an amalgamation of disparate points of view, both in the songs' subject matter and their sounds. The album features songs about a future slave forced into space in the year 3034, a rich businessman declaring his pride at being in the 1%, and a six year old drug dealer, and simply Sean Townsend’s perspective of hip-hop and life. Ross Ellingworth's dense electronic instrumentals, ranging in sound from deep house to dubstep, provide a perfect backdrop for Townsend's complex subject matter and rhymes.
